The Shamrocks MC, Vermont Mother Chapter is a not-for-profit organization pending status registration with the Internal Revenue Service under the provisions of IRS Code, Section 501(c)(3). We are a non-territorial club and do not support other clubs in commercial enterprise. We support several different charity causes which include, but are not limited to, Law Enforcement, Veteran's Affairs, Children, Animals, and Medical Research and Treatment. In addition to self-initiated cause support, the Shamrocks MC is very active in supporting other clubs with their charity efforts.

If your club or organization is sponsoring, or knows about a worthy cause feel free to surf on over to our contact page and drop a note telling us about it. If we can't make the event we will surely post your flyer in our events section. Just send it to us.

Originally, the membership of the Shamrocks MC was comprised solely of Federal Law Enforcement Officers. As time went by we felt the need to recognize our professional bond with all levels of government law enforcement. Today the Shamrocks MC welcomes all U.S. Law Enforcement Officers, not just Federal, into its ranks. Additionally, the club's by-laws allow for a small percentage of non-commissioned members. These members are either civil-service professionals (Firefighters, EMTs, Paramedics, etc.) or active-duty and retired military personnel. No matter what background our members possess one can rest assured that if you see a big white shamrock on their back, you are looking at one of this country's finest professionals.

While not a club requirement, most of our members claim and are proud of their Irish heritage.
